Spain

Looking to spend a weekend, a week, or even more in Spain? You can find all my articles about Spain and the Canary Islands in this section!

A trip to Spain is an opportunity to explore its famous regions, such as Andalusia, Catalonia, Madrid, Galicia, Murcia, Navarre, the Basque Country, and many others. The country has a rich culture and gastronomy that tourists love.

Spain also has a few beautiful islands, such as the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, that offer even more to discover.

Traveling to Spain: A culture-rich experience

Spain is one of those countries that seem to have everything one could desire: a pleasant climate, a gourmet gastronomy, cities that are perfect for both idleness and cultural visits, beautiful beaches, and even hidden gems away from mass tourism.

Famous cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville are must-see destinations, but there are also beautiful historic cities like Cadiz and Cordoba, as well as natural parks and deserts like the mythical Bardenas Reales desert, which gives the impression of diving into another world!

You can also take a trip to Spain by visiting the Canary Islands, located off the African coast. While most people know Tenerife, Fuerteventura, and the magnificent island of Lanzarote, there are also more private islands such as La Gomera and El Hierro. It is another way to experience the country that many Europeans visit to enjoy sunny weekends.

Also, let’s not forget about the Balearic Islands, which are also part of Spain. Mallorca is the popular one, Menorca is the peaceful one, and Ibiza is the party one (although it is far from being just limited to clubbing and nightlife!)

In this section, I hope to introduce you to the places I have visited during my travels to Spain, with plenty of ideas for activities, recommendations of hotels and restaurants, photos, and tips.
